The band has been in existence since 1958 serving the Wagga Wagga and surrounding districts. Historically the band has competed in regional and state competitions however now it performs socially at ceremonies, festivals, parades, and private functions. Highlights for us over the last year have incldued performing at ANZAC day parades in Wagga and surrounding townships, Tumbafest, massed pipe bands at a Highland Games, and new years eve functions. Upcoming performaces include hosting and playing at massed pipe bands at the Kapooka Open Day - October 10th and the Beechworth Celtic Festival in November.

The Wagga Wagga and District Highland pipe band can provide piping services from a full pipe band, to a group of pipers, or an individual piper for your special event, wedding, funerals, parade, fundraising, or anything you can think of.
Are you interested in learning to play the pipes or drums?
The band is recruiting learners in both the pipes and drums. Learners of all ages and abilities are invited to come along to the Pipe Band Hall at the Wagga Beach on tuesday nights 7pm - 8pm. A small fee is involved with tuition. Please contact us for further details.
